April Fools Birthday

I have the best birthday ever! I don't love getting older, but I DO love playing jokes on my family, it seems only right since I was an April Fools baby!  This year I did a few oldies but goodies, and tried a few new pranks.

My kids enjoyed this so much last year that I decided to do it again.

I scanned in a $5 and printed out a few one sided bills and left them in different places for my kids to find. I heard my 17 year old say, "Hey, what's this? ... Oh, Mom!"

For some reason there are all these pictures of Nicolas Cage on line. I decided to put some surprises in unexpected places.

There is a Statue of Liberty Nic on my fridge, a Disney princess Nic on the mirror, and several different "Nics" hiding around the house. I even changed my profile picture on Facebook to a picture of Nic!

This could really get you in a sticky situation, ha ha!

We drink a lot of Crystal Lite around here, but this is just water with red food coloring in it. Last year it was jello, so they will think this is OK when it pours from the pitcher!

I wanted to do something fun to hubby's computer, and my first plan didn't work out very well. I took a screen shot of the desktop and was just going to leave that up so it would look like the computer was frozen, but I can't get it to take up the whole screen, so I put this nice and big in the middle of the screen.

And this is in the ice maker waiting for the next unfortunate person who want ice. Even as I write this the ice maker is busy covering the peas with ice cubes, by the time people get home today there should be no sign of what awaits them instead of ice!

A few years ago I put a note on my husbands car saying, "Sorry I hit your car." with my cell phone number. He walked around and around the car before he started to call the number!

There are some ping pong balls on a paper plate on top of the fridge, with a white thread taped to the bottom of the plate and to the side of the door. When someone opens the fridge they will all fall on their head. I forgot and pranked myself when I started to grab something out! Oh well, it's back and ready for the next victim.

My family would be disappointed if I didn't play some pranks on them. I know it makes them feel loved!

Do you have any more pranks I can plan for next year? I hope you have a wonderful April Fool's Day!
