My DIY Gifts

Well, I've been busy...  I made all the guys on the Christmas list wallets made from various things like monopoly money, duct tape, a circiut board, M&Ms package, and book cover.
I blogged about those here.

On the same post I blogged about these snowman candy bars.

I've already sent off this quilt.

And I've delivered all of the fire extinguishers from my previous post, and I have finished all these purses! In case you missed it, I blogged about this wonderful purse pattern here.  I can't say enough about how much I like this pattern!  I have printed it out at 125% and plan to make myself a larger one when things  have gotten a little calmer after the holidays.  This pattern takes about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish, I get the smaller purse magnets, they do the job perfectly.  I sewed a line up the center of my pocket, turning it into two smaller pockets, and I use fusible fleece, ironed on to the outside layer or the purse.

I still have a laptop case to finish up and then I'm done with all my handmade gifts - I think.  Of course there have been food items, too. If you want an easy and delicious treat to give away, check out this recipe for Rollo Turtles!

I hope you are finishing up your list, too!  Enjoy the holidays with your family and Merry Christmas!
