Merry Christmas to me..

Merry Christmas and Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Birthday and anniversary.. I'm not sure how many celebration days this is for, but I'm THRILLED!

TA DA! Meet Ellie. A BabyLock Ellisimo.

At a family reunion this summer my sister-in-law showed me some things she had embroidered with her new machine, and I was bitten by the embroidery bug! I started checking out machines and reading reviews and being shocked by how much they cost...  At first I told my husband that I could find something for around $300 - LOL! He watched as I researched more and more machines until I settled on this one. It had so many happy users who left glowing reviews everywhere that I decided I could be happy too. Thank you Ebay for helping me find my dream machine for a third of the cost of a  new one - and with all the upgrades. It arrived this morning and many of the little doo-hickeys that come with machines were still sealed in plastic and had never been used.

It did take me about half an hour to wind a bobbin and thread my machine, because I was double checking myself on everything and opening things and exploring...

But look what I made!

Now I have a new dilemma. Here is the view (through the machine) of all the stuff that comes with it. Where am I going to put all this? Do I need a bigger sewing room now???
