Stove Top Protection

A few months ago my old stove died, and I got a new glass top stove. While learning about how to care for it I heard of someone who cracked
their stove top because they dropped something from the cupboard above the stove. Since I am short, I must admit that I have dropped things before when trying to reach them in a high cupboard. I decided a good way to protect the stove top would be to make myself a little quilt to go on top of the stove when it is not in use. I collect apple things, and I made a little apple quilt! Now my stove is protected, and I like how it turned out!
