It's called "Framed In", I really like how it turned out! I saw it on the modabakeshop website here, a couple of years ago and knew I wanted to make this quilt - so I bought the fabric...a few months later I cut out all the pieces. Life interrupted and I worked on other things, but I kept getting it back out when I finished something and put it away as I started working on something else. You know how it goes, right?
When I finished Christmas projects I got it back out, determined that it would be on my "finished list".
I haven't made anything for myself for a while, so I am happy to put this out!
I quilted in the ditch of the stripes, and different styles in the borders and setting triangles.
The back is a busy print that is a pretty pink color.
As I was taking pictures, who should come walking by...
and plop down like I spread this out just for him? Now I'll have to get black hairs off of it - good thing I love that kitty!
What is a house without cat or dog hair? Lonely, barren. The quilt is beautiful. :)
ReplyDeletePretty quilt! I like the layout and the colorwash effect. Amazing how our cats magically appear to loll about on a new quilt isn't it?
