Chick Party!

I'm sure you have seen those cute little chicken pincushions that have been making their way around in blog land and Pinterest. I was SEW glad when my AQF (amazing quilting friend) suggested that we get together and make some!  Here is our fabric all cut out and ready to begin.

It just takes a few squares of fabric. We ironed the creases in our smaller squares and started sewing...

Before you know it we had them sewn and stuffed (hopefully these chicks will forgive me for taking an "action" shot without any warning).

Then we started playing with them and arranging them different ways for pictures. A few are facing away from the camera here so you can admire their tails!
