Sunrise Surprise Block

Yay!  I finished my first BOM block!

I love it!  I hadn't done any math in my head- I try not to EVER do that!  I didn't realize how large this block was going to be - 16 1/2" square.  Kind of large, but my husband really likes it, and said something he has never said about any of the other quilts I have made: he wants this one for our bed! I told him that would mean I have to make new curtains and pillow shams...  He is OK with all of that.  I haven't made any promises, but maybe...
